otto wants to be the successor of vagrant ! This beautiful promise seems to be completly attainable with few to none configuration… for the simple contexts.
In fact, otto embeds all the tools of hashicorp in an easy-to-use package. vagrant is used for development ; packer produces the AMI((Amazon Machine Image : a type of image for preconfigured virtual machines, used by Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), the virtualization component of Amazon Web Services (AWS))) ; terraform and consul for the target platform management.
